Legal Process Outsourcing - LPO - Potential Joint Venture

Hiya,
It has been long time since I ventured into my blog – Legal Process Outsourcing “LPO” – work2lpo and put a posting due to busy schedules.

World Language – Recession – I am one more of this World’s population who thought the present economic slow down in the world including in United States and United Kingdom has certainly made an impact on the inflow of work into India.

It is quite known fact that India has huge knowledge base which has universal acceptance and it keeps growing every year by new pass outs. With experience of 4 long years in LPO industry I am now happy with my present role which involves study into potential joint ventures, working relationship, partnership or other business relationship to assure smooth execution, a commitment to performance, and control and stability. In short, I am to analyze the infrastructure, knowledge base, human resources and research facilitating abilities of Legal Process Outsourcing Unit/s “LPO” in India and pave way for potential joint ventures and working relationship. This is sought of research consultancy but is quite interesting work and allows me to understand the LPO industry nature.

I had always tried to understand what and where most law firms in US and the UK tend to look to outsource. Now it is apparent or has become a general rule that either they venture into establishing their captive units or tend to move very carefully (particularly considering elements such as data security, infrastructure and location) with independent knowledge/legal process outsourcing units. Law firms usually outsource non-core support activities, which enables their key human resource to carry out heavy litigation. It allows their attorneys/solicitors/lawyers to fully concentrate their legal expertise and energy on what counts - getting clients what they want.

I will continue later……..need to move to work……………….!
